ABOUT US
THE OWNERS
Brothers Shawn and Ryan Marshall have been visiting Lake George from Northern New Jersey their entire lives. Their Grandfather, Anthony “Tony” Grasso of Lyndhurst, NJ, discovered this area years ago and purchased his first home in Hague back in the 1960s.
Shawn and Ryan always had a special affinity for Lake George and could not wait until each August where they would come up and visit their grandparents in Cape Cod Village, located in Hague. They have always enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake, fishing, cray-fishing, water sports, boating, hiking and everything the Adirondack regions had to offer. Their dream was to one day own their own home close to the Lake.
After renting various homes in Bolton Landing over the years, they found “Amazing Acorn” and instantly fell in love. Not only was the house new and clean, the private and serene Trout Lake being such a short walk from the house was the perfect touch. The home provided a freshness that was lacked by the small lake cottages they stayed in prior - it was different.
The modern home serves visitors year-round with country charm, nestled in woods of Bolton Landing, yet close enough to the center of Bolton Landing, Lake Shore Drive, and the beautiful Lake George.
We hope you and your family decide to visit and make memories of your own for years to come.
THE LAKE
This lovely Adirondack Cape home sits on three acres of serenity, only a few short minutes' walk from tranquil Trout Lake. Neighboring Lake George is a short drive from the home and provides a sense of wonder to your getaway. The 10,000+ year old lake was melted from glaciers after the Ice Age and now serves as one of the area's top recreational hotspots!
It is perfect for activities such as stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, waterskiing, boating, ice-skating and fishing. If you’d just like to relax, sit in an Adirondack chair and admire the Loons and other wildlife that call this place home.
