table for six, a coffee table and two pull out couches. In the kitchen area, there is a
extended countertop with four barstools. It is equipped with a four-burner electric stove with oven, refrigerator,
coffee maker, toaster and a microwave oven. Pots and pans are plentiful, as well as silverware and dinnerware
for your accommodations. |

The rear of the house features a large deck with a lot of land for children to play. On the deck
you will find a picnic table, chairs and BBQ area with gas grill. During the summer, guests will find the porch a pleasant
place for meals and leisure activities in the open air. Sit back and relax on the deck while your favorite meal is being grilled
to perfection! |
We request that guests provide paper products, soaps, and food
wraps. Everyday kitchen condoments will be available for use. Towels and linens are not supplied by owners. Sorry, no pets allowed.
Swimming and Boating The Million
Dollar Beach offers plenty of room for tanning, swimming and whatever your heart may desire. Volleyball nets are availabe for use.
The public marina is located down the road from the beach where you can dock your boat or find the cruise ships, the "Minne-Ha-Ha", "Mohican" and the
"Lac du Saint Sacrement" of the Lake George Steamboat company. Enjoy a delightful meal on the cruise and witness
the spectacular views of Lake George. Several marinas on
the lake offer boat rentals and launching. The house has plenty of room for parking your trailored boat.

Regional events during the winter & summer months

In the Summer
Sunbathing: Visit the Million Dollar Beach located on Beach Road in Lake George. Bask in the sun, take a dip in the water and have an
all around good time with the family.
Fishing: Either charter a boat or bring your own and fish the waters of Lake George.
Lake George is known for some of the best Lake Trout, Salmon and Northern Pike fishing. See below for ice fishing as well.
Golfing: Within a fifteen mile radius of Lake George there are over fifteen public golf courses. Many courses have
splendid views of the Adirondacks and are well maintained with plentiful trees which provide ample shade for those hot summer days.
Shepard Park: The outdoor ampitheater at Shepard Park offers weekly concerts. Come and enjoy the sounds
of jazz, blues and raggae, to name a few. The Lake George Jazz Festival is on September 19-20.
Thoroughbred and harness racing: Saratoga Race Course is a 350-acre racetrack in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
The 2009 meeting begins Wednesday, July 29 and ends Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7.
The Adirondack Balloon Festival: Festival is the weekend of September 24-27, but balloon flights are also offered throughout the year.
Enjoy magnificent views of the region and the
feeling of escape and freedom that only a balloon flight can give.
Great Escape: The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom has over 135 rides, shows & attractions, including
seven roller coasters & a full outdoor waterpark.

Fireworks: Lake George offers a firework spectacular for the 4th of July as well as
every Thursday night from late June to the end of August, 9:30 pm.

In the Winter
Gore Mountain: A 40-minute drive, open from mid-November to mid-April.
Gore has 79 ski trails and 11 chair lifts. Gore Mountain’s ski trails are 10 percent beginner, 60 percent intermediate, and 30 percent advanced.
The Gore Mountain ski area offers skiing and snowboarding rated among the finest in the Upstate area.
Snowmobiling: Snowmobile the Lake George Region with over 100 miles of groomed trails in New York's southern Warren County.
The extensive trail network connects the towns of Lake George, Lake Luzerne, Queensbury, and Glens Falls. Snowmobile rentals with a guided tour are available locally.
The annual Lake George Winter Carnival takes place every weekend during February. Dog pulls, food cookoffs,
Snowmobile, mototcycle, ATV, bike and even outhouse races are just a few of the events that take place. For

Ice fishing on the lake is available during January through March, depending on the thickness of ice.
